Luminous Rewards Terms & Conditions
The AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program (“AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program”) is offered by AHAVA NA LLC. either directly or through one of its subsidiaries ("Company", “we”, or “us”).
These terms and conditions apply to the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program and any promotional activity and member transactions relating to the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program. By registering for and participating in the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions are without prejudice to AHAVA’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and should be read in conjunction therewith.
Sign Up to the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program
To become a member of AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program (A-Listers), simply create an account online at our rewards page, or on our account creation page.
Please note, purchasing online will not automatically enroll you in the program.
Take a moment to sign up and unlock the rewards that await you.
You must notify us if your email address or any other personal details are provided as part of sign-up changes.
AHAVA is not responsible for any loss of AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program benefits arising from you not notifying us of any change in personal details.
The AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program is intended for personal use only, commercial use is prohibited. The AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program is limited to one (1) AHAVA Luminous Rewards account (“Account”) per person and per email address.
AHAVA staff are not eligible to join the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program.
AHAVA Rewards Points balance and rewards are not transferrable and cannot be shared with anyone else.
You must be at least 16 years of age. If you are under the age of 18, you need the consent of your parents or guardian to join.
The AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program is available to AHAVA customers in United States & Canada.
Member communications and personal data
When you join the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program, you agree to receive email communications from AHAVA for the purposes of:
- providing you with marketing, product and special offer information; and
- notifying you of matters relevant to your AHAVA Luminous Rewards membership, including Points and rewards expiry.
You can opt out of receiving marketing emails by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ button at the bottom of any AHAVA's email or updating your preferences. Kindly note though that even if you opt-out of receiving marketing emails from us, you may continue to receive relationship/operational emails primarily related to the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program unless your Account is cancelled or otherwise terminated.
By joining the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program you agree to our collection, use and disclosure of your data (including personal information) in accordance with our Privacy Policy and these terms and conditions.
Earning AHAVA Rewards Points
You can earn AHAVA Rewards Points (“Points”) by making a purchase, sharing on social, subscribing to our SMS list, leaving a review and/or referring friends. Current options and further details on each option for obtaining Points are listed below:
- Purchases: Earn one (1) Point for every dollar (rounded down to the nearest dollar) you spend on AHAVA products online at https://www.ahava.com. Spend excludes shipping costs and Points are calculated on your actual spend after any discounts, gift Coupons/gift cards;
- Online Purchases: Simply shop on our online store https://www.ahava.com/ and your Points will be automatically added to your Account once the order is shipped. You must be signed into your Account when you make a purchase for Points to be accrued.

Points will be accrued at the following rate:
- 1 point = $1 USD spend (United States).
- Share: 15 points, for sharing our website with your Facebook crowd
- Following: Earn ten (10) AHAVA Rewards points when you follow AHAVA on Instagram in order receive the AHAVA Rewards points you must click through to Instagram from the AHAVA Rewards webpage.
- Review: Earn one hundred (100) Points when you leave a product review after purchase (you will receive an email with review request only reviews from said email will entitle you to points). For a photo or video attached to your review we add an extra Ten (10) Points (Each). Reviews that contain obscene, offensive, or other language and/or images communicating messages inconsistent with the positive images with which AHAVA wishes to associate itself (as determined by AHAVA in its sole discretion) will be void and disqualified. Each review should reflect your honest and truthful opinions and actual experiences. You should be sure to have used the products and done so consistent with stated instructions. You must comply with any advertising codes requiring that you disclose when a post or review is incentivized and that the post is prominently labelled with #AD in a place which is obvious to viewers. The ‘Reviews and User Content’ section in AHAVA’s Terms of Use shall apply to reviews made under these Luminous Rewards Terms and Conditions.

Refer: Earn two hundred and fifty (250) Points when you refer to your friends by using our referral section of our website to invite your friends to join AHAVA Rewards. Your friend must join before you will earn the 250 Points. There are no restrictions on the number of friends you may invite. Each referral must be manually key stroked and manually entered by the individual member. Automated and/or repetitive submission of referrals (including but not limited to referrals made using any script, macro, bot, or sweepstakes service) will be disqualified. Automated or bulk referrals made by third parties will be disqualified.
- Please only refer friends who are happy to receive information from AHAVA and who have given their consent for you to pass on their details.
- Sign up for SMS: Earn a hundred (100) Points when you sign up for text messages from the AHAVA Rewards page.
Loyalty Programs and Financial Incentives:

Colorado
- The Colorado Privacy Act, and the regulations promulgated thereunder (collectively, the "CPA"), define a Bona Fide Loyalty Program (hereafter "Loyalty Program") as any kind of program established for the purpose of providing Benefits to consumers who voluntarily participate in that program, such that the primary purpose of processing personal data through the program is solely to provide these Benefits to participating consumers. “Bona Fide Loyalty Program Benefit” (hereafter "Benefits") is defined as an offer of goods or services provided to a consumer through a Loyalty Program. Such Benefits may be provided directly by the Controller (i.e., AHAVA) or through a third party.
- According to the CPA, a Controller maintaining a Loyalty Program must disclose the following information at the point of program registration (possibly through a link to the specific section in the privacy policy):
- The categories of personal data or sensitive data collected through the Loyalty Program that will be sold or processed for targeted advertising, if any.
- The categories of third parties that will receive the consumer's personal data and sensitive data, including whether personal data will be provided to data brokers.
- A list of any third parties that participate in providing the Loyalty Program and the Benefits provided by each partner.
- An explanation of whether personal data or sensitive data is required to provide the Loyalty Program, and thus, a request to stop processing these types of data may affect its provision.
- Additionally, the CPA allows, in certain circumstances, for the Loyalty Program not to be provided to consumers who have exercised their rights regarding their personal information (e.g., the right to opt-out of sharing of personal information for targeted advertising). These limitations may also be included in the privacy notice (although not mandatory).
- The Loyalty Program terms, and any request for consent to process personal data in relation thereof, must include a link to the privacy notice.

California
- The California Consumer Privacy Act, and the regulations promulgated thereunder (the "CCPA"), define a Financial Incentive as any offering for the collection, retention, sale, or sharing of personal information. In our opinion, AHAVA's granting of rewards points for referring to personal information of third parties, as well as for signing up for SMS, falls under the definition of Financial Incentive.
- The CCPA requires an opt-in consent to the program, and allow consumers the opportunity to opt-out. A business that offers Financial Incentive shall give a Notice of Financial Incentive before obtaining the consumer's consent, through a link that takes the consumer directly to the specific section of the privacy policy that contain the following information.
- A summary of the financial incentive offered;
- A description of the material terms of the financial incentive, including the categories of personal information that are implicated by the financial incentive and the value of the consumer’s data;
- How the consumer can opt-in to the financial incentive;
- A statement of the consumer’s right to withdraw from the financial incentive at any time and how the consumer may exercise that right;
- An explanation of how the price is reasonably related to the value of the consumer’s data, including: a good-faith estimate of the value of the consumer’s data that forms the basis for offering the price or service difference; and a description of the methods the business used to calculate the value of the consumer’s data.
- The CCPA allows, in certain circumstances, for the Loyalty Program not to be provided to consumers who have opted out of sharing their personal information for targeted advertising purposes. These limitations may also be included in the privacy notice, although not mandatory.
Examples of the award of Points for purchases where a discount/gift Coupon applies, are outlined below:
- If you purchase a product which is $100 and receive a 30% discount on the purchase (total spend $70), you will receive seventy (70) Points.
- If you purchase a product which is $100 and use a $40 gift Coupon on the purchase (total spend $60), you will receive sixty (60) Points.
For in-store purchases, points may take up to 24 hours to be credited to your AHAVA Rewards account after completion of the upload of your receipt to the AHAVA website. For online purchases, Points for orders made on the AHAVA website will be awarded once the order is marked as ‘paid’ in Shopify.
We may deduct from your Account any Points:
- credited to your Account as a result of an error;
- relating to a transaction that has been cancelled, reversed or refunded;
- relating to any suspected fraudulent activity; or
- relating to an order that AHAVA reasonably believes was for a commercial purpose or commercial in quantity.
Your AHAVA Rewards Point balance and any Coupons you redeem through the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program are not transferable to anyone else and are not redeemable in cash.
Redeeming AHAVA Rewards Points
You can redeem your Points for coupon codes or products available in the AHAVA Rewards current product catalog.
AHAVA Rewards coupon codes (“Coupons”) are redeemable at https://www.ahava.com/.
Only one Coupon can be used per transaction. Coupons can be self-issued via https://www.ahava.com/ by following the prompts to redeem Points for a Coupon on site.
Once Points have been redeemed for a Coupon, you cannot then redeem the same Points for a product, and vice-versa.
We have a range of products available in our product catalog for you to also purchase with Points.
Have a look at our top picks you can redeem within your logged in Account online at https://www.ahava.com/pages/rewards. Once you choose to redeem your Points for a product, just add it to your cart from the rewards page. Standing shipping fees will still apply.
Point Redemption Update:
Every 100 points you earn can now be redeemed for a $1 discount on your next purchase. This simplified redemption process allows you to use your points without any minimum purchase requirements, providing you with more flexibility and value.
Combining Discounts: In addition to the updated point redemption rate, you can now combine your redeemed points with other ongoing site discounts. This means more savings and the ability to take full advantage of both the rewards program and promotional offers.
When you convert your Points into a Coupon, you will have 60 calendar days from the date of conversion to use your Coupon. If you return or cancel an order in which you redeemed a Coupon, the Coupon will be reissued to your Account with its original expiry date.
Each Coupon can only be used once, and AHAVA will not be held liable if a Coupon is not able to be redeemed for any reason. When using a Coupon, you must spend at least $1. Coupons are not valid for use towards the purchase of gift cards. AHAVA reserves the right to exclude certain items and promotions from being redeemed by using a Coupon.
Points will expire 12 months after they are earned. This means that if you make multiple purchases in one year, you will have Points expiring on multiple dates the following year. If you are to return your order after Points were assigned, those Points will be deducted from your Points balance. For example: If you spend $50 on 1 March of the first year, you will earn 50 Points. These Points will expire at the end of February of the second year.
We will notify you using the email address linked to your Account approximately one (1) month before any of your Points are due to expire, if you have not opted out of receiving Luminous Rewards communications.
If you would still like to redeem Luminous Rewards points accrued in your Account before this change takes effect on March 10, 2024 on the basis of the old Luminous Rewards program terms – you may do so until March 10, 2025, by contacting us at https://www.ahava.com/pages/contact.
AHAVA Membership Levels
The current spending thresholds for each membership tier (“Membership Tier”) are:
- Silver Skin Glow - new registrants to the website and Luminous Rewards program
- Gold Skin Glow - Spend $200
- Platinum Skin Glow - Spend $600
Your AHAVA Membership year starts from (i) the date you joined AHAVA Rewards; or (ii) the date you last changed or maintained your Membership Tier (whichever date is later). Your AHAVA Membership year runs for 12 months. (a “Membership Year”).
You can accumulate AHAVA Membership Tier spend by making a purchase:
Online Purchases: Simply shop on our online store (https://www.ahava.com/) and your Membership Tier spend will be automatically added to your Account once the order is shipped. Must be signed into your Account for Membership Tier spend to be accrued;
Spend excludes shipping costs and Points are calculated on your actual spend after any discounts, gift Coupons/gift cards.
For online purchases, Membership Tier spend will be credited to your Account once your order ships. For in-store purchases, Membership Tier spend may take up to 24 hours to be credited to your Account.
At the end of each Membership Year, your Membership Tier will be determined by your spend on AHAVA in that Membership Year and your spending balance will be reset to $0. You will then remain in that Membership Tier until the end of your next Membership Year, unless your rolling 12 month spend qualifies you to move to a higher Membership Tier, or if your Points balance is less than the minimum required for that Membership Tier, you will downgrade to the previous Membership Tier.
We may deduct from your AHAVAs Membership Tier spend balance any amounts:
- credited to your Account as a result of an error;
- relating to a transaction that has been cancelled, reversed or refunded;
- relating to any suspected fraudulent activity; or
- relating to an order that AHAVA reasonably believes was for a commercial purpose or commercial in quantity.
The benefits that members of each Membership Tier are eligible to receive are set out in the table below. These benefits may change, but if we reduce the benefits that apply to the Membership Tier you are in, we will let you know by sending an email to the email address linked to your Account, if you have not opted out of Luminous Rewards communications:
Exclusive Offers
Your AHAVA Rewards Membership may be terminated or suspended if we reasonably suspect that you have:
breached these terms and conditions;
engaged in or may engage in fraudulent conduct, or conduct that is reasonably suspected to be fraudulent, in relation to your AHAVA Rewards Account; or
engaged in inappropriate conduct that undermines the legitimate interests of AHAVA.
AHAVAs Birthday Rewards
Members who are eligible for a Birthday reward will receive their Birthday gift via email (if they have not opted out of Luminous Rewards communications) on the birthday noted in their account, or at such other time as AHAVA considers appropriate. Birthday Rewards may change from time to time at AHAVA’s discretion. The 100 bonus points for your birthday will be provided on the date of your birthday.
Your Birthday gift is redeemable online only and must be used within 30 days of the date of issuance. You must be logged in to your AHAVAs Rewards account to redeem your Birthday gift. Birthday gifts that are not redeemed within 30 days of issuance will be rendered null and void.
Member’s Obligations
You must comply with all applicable laws, codes and regulations including any advertising codes requiring that you disclose when a post or review is incentivized and that the post is prominently labelled with #AD in a place which is obvious to viewers.
You agree to:
(a) not make any false statement relating to AHAVA in public or online (including on social media), to the press or elsewhere;
(b) remove any violative or improper posts over which you have control at the request of AHAVA as soon as practicably possible.
General
Except where otherwise expressly stated, these Luminous Rewards Terms and Conditions supersede all previous terms and conditions applicable to the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program, as of the date noted below, and shall apply to any pending or future dispute between you and AHAVA to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
AHAVA reserves the right to moderate and remove points from customers/purchases if AHAVA expects illegitimate activity (ie. Buying bulk products in a retailer and then returning these after points have been allocated).
You may terminate your AHAVA Rewards membership at any time by contacting AHAVA customer service.
If your AHAVA Rewards membership is terminated (by you or us), all outstanding Points and any AHAVA Rewards Coupons you have redeemed will no longer be valid and will be rendered null and void.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL OR SUSPEND THE AHAVA'S LUMINOUS REWARDS PROGRAM OR TO CHANGE THESE LUMINOUS REWARDS PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS AT ANY TIME AT OUR SOLE CONSIDERATION. IF WE DO, WE MAY OR MAY NOT NOTIFY YOU, DEPENDING ON THE CHANGE WE MAKE, BY POSTING AN UP-TO-DATE COPY OF OUR TERMS AT https://www.ahava.com/pages/rewards-terms-and-conditions OR VIA EMAIL.
YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE BY PARTICIPATING IN THE AHAVA'S LUMINOUS REWARDS PROGRAM THAT WE CAN MAKE THESE CHANGES AT ANY TIME, WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE.
AHAVA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO TERMINATE THE AHAVA'S LUMINOUS REWARDS PROGRAM WITH SIX MONTHS' NOTICE, WITHOUT COMPENSATION.
Where AHAVA gives you notice by email, you agree that the notice is deemed to have been provided to you on the date of the email.
These terms and conditions are without prejudice to any of your rights under applicable US consumer laws, .
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA.
For United States residents, except where prohibited by law, as a condition of participating in the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program, each Member agrees that
(1) any and all disputes and causes of action arising out of or connected with this AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by final and binding arbitration under the rules of JAMS and held at the JAMS regional office nearest the Member;
(2) the Federal Arbitration Act shall govern the interpretation, enforcement and all proceedings at such arbitration; and
(3) judgment upon such arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. Under no circumstances will any Member be permitted to obtain awards for, and Member hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, or any other damages, including attorneys’ fees, other than Member’s actual out-of-pocket expenses, and Member further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased. Members further agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these terms and conditions, or the rights and obligations of the Member and AHAVA in connection with the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of New York or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New York.
AHAVA’ decisions with respect to all aspects of the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program are final and binding on all Member’s without right of appeal.
Any attempt by any Member to obtain more than the stated number of Points by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations and logins, or any other methods will void that Member’s Points.
Use of any automated system or service to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification.
Any attempt to deliberately damage or to undermine the legitimate operation of the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program in any way is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, and AHAVA reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the Member.
The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address.
Any automated computer receipt or statement of account does not constitute proof of actual number of Points.
AHAVA reserves the right to withdraw, amend or suspend the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program (or to amend these Terms & Conditions) in any way, in the event of an error, technical problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other cause beyond its reasonable control.
This means that regardless of the number of Points you accumulate in the AHAVA's Luminous Rewards Program, your right to accumulate and redeem Points can be terminated six months after we give you notice.
